Asset Protection Specialist at The Home Depot The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance, and driving a shrink-elimination culture in the store. The Asset Protection Specialist must report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. They must demonstrate integrity at all times and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities. Base pay range
$23.00/hr - $23.00/hr Responsibilities
Identify incidents of theft and fraud; review CCTV and exception reports; monitor store security; audit Electronic Article Surveillance; drive shrink-elimination culture. Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement; testify in criminal and civil court actions. Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty; minimize risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns of associates; support key asset protection and operational responsibilities. Employment type
