The principal scientist in this position will focus on designing, developing and launching innovative ad experiences delivered to shoppers in conversational contexts. Our team utilizes leading-edge science and engineering technologies in generative AI to help shoppers discover new products and brands through intuitive, conversational interfaces. We also empower advertisers to reach shoppers, using their own voice to explain how their products meet shoppers' needs. Key job responsibilities include driving appropriate technology choices for the customers and the business, leading the way for continuous innovation, and shaping the future of e-commerce. You will have the opportunity to apply your deep subject matter expertise in the area of large language models and generative AI across various modalities. Basic Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or related field. 10+ years of applied ML experience in building complex, real-time systems involving AI, ML, and NLP with successful delivery to customers. Hands-on experience with designing and prototyping AI solutions for real world applications. Preferred Qualifications
Research publications or patents in generative AI technologies Experience with natural language processing and generative model architectures Background in advertising technology or e-commerce platforms Demonstrated track record of innovative AI solution development Experience with advertising systems and applications. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,400/year in our highest geographic market.
