Overview

Senior Bridge Structural Engineer role at Kleinfelder in the New England Region. Office locations include Boston, MA; Worcester, MA; Manchester, NH; and Rocky Hill, CT. Remote and hybrid options can be discussed. Responsibilities

Serve as a design lead and technical advisor for staff engineers and CAD operators Manage tasks and/or projects as assigned Assist with the pursuit of new projects Produce technical reports as needed Prepare cost proposals for projects Develop project deliverables including design computations, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings Qualifications

BSCE from an ABET-accredited engineering program (MSCE preferred) A minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience in the structural engineering field Licensed Professional Engineer (MA, CT, NH license a plus) Familiarity with AASHTO, MassDOT, NHDOT and/or CTDOT standards Experience designing and analyzing transportation structures including bridges, culverts, walls, and sign structures Familiarity with general purpose structural analysis software; 3D finite element analysis experience strongly preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (MicroStation experience a plus) Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving practices Work Arrangements
