Futures Operations Specialist

Robinhood . Robinhood Derivatives (RHD) is Robinhood’s newly formed entity focusing on futures, event contracts, and options on futures. Our operations and trading team will help coordinate and lead business operations and internal functions for this entity to ensure a successful setup, launch, and scale. This role is based in our Chicago, IL office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Review daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations Process trade corrections, cash discrepancies, and position breaks Research, prioritize, and resolve futures and event contract related customer escalations Maintain detailed records in accordance with standard operating procedures Ensure adherence to firm procedures and industry regulations Coordinate with product and engineering partners to translate business and regulatory requirements to enhance futures operational processes Partner with Compliance and cross-functional teams to document and maintain processes and WSPs Develop, manage, and continuously improve processes for scale to help RHD Operations meet goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, prioritize, and communicate product-related challenges for future development What You Bring
Demonstrated history of operational excellence and problem solving 4+ years of experience in Brokerage Operations, Financial Services, or related field Strong understanding of futures market, event contracts, and back-office clearing Excellent leadership, communication, time management, problem solving, and analytical skills Expertise in Excel; ability to leverage advanced functions for data analysis. Familiarity with SQL is a plus Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with colleagues across the company Ability to prioritize and complete multiple daily tasks and projects with varying deadlines Active Series 3 or ability to obtain within 90 days Ability to pass NFA Swaps Proficiency Exam within 90 days What We Offer

Base Pay Range Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $102,000—$120,000 Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $90,000—$106,000 Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $80,000—$94,000 Compensation varies by location and other factors.
