The Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities for Substation, Transmission and Distribution construction projects. This includes managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and aligning procurement strategies with project timelines and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring project delivery is achieved on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to Substation, Transmission and Distribution projects; Ensure procurement processes align with project goals, budget constraints, and delivery timelines; Develop and execute procurement plans in alignment with project schedules and milestones; Identify long-lead items and develop sourcing strategies to mitigate delays and cost escalation. Vendor & Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and contractors for Substation, Transmission & Distribution equipment and services; Lead tendering processes including preparation of RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations, and award recommendations; Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring value for money and risk mitigation; Prepare and manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes for Substation, Transmission & Distribution construction goods and services; Lead contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with commercial and legal standards. Cost Control and Risk Management: Monitor procurement costs to ensure alignment with budget targets; Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies; Track procurement budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives; Provide regular procurement reports to senior management and project teams; Forecast procurement needs and cash flow requirements. Project Execution: Work closely with engineering, project management, and construction teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules; Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of critical equipment; Coordinate with project engineers, planners, and construction teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements; Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance against agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications; Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to site, resolving supply chain issues proactively. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards; Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Performance Monitoring: Track procurement KPIs including supplier performance, delivery timelines, and cost savings; Conduct regular supplier performance reviews. Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM, PMP) are a plus. 5–10 years of procurement experience in transmission and distribution, substations Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects/EPC contracts Proven track record in Transmission & Distribution or EPC projects. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Knowledge of T&D materials, equipment, and service procurement. Familiarity with supply chain management software Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Accessibility
