Overview
HR Generalist Coordinator I, Georgetown University — Aramark Join to apply for the HR Generalist Coordinator I role at Aramark. Base pay range : $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr The HR Generalist Coordinator I provides general HR support to units in the manager’s absence, offers leadership and support to managers and employees, identifies best practices and organizational efficiencies, and mentors trains line managers to apply HR policies and programs within the unit.
Job Responsibilities
Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.
Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Develop and advise on innovative employee motivation and morale programs.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Listen to employee concerns and exhibit analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Manage day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
Assist in processing payroll.
Download data from Time Plus and collaborate with support or IT on transmission or equipment issues.
Notify department managers of missed punches and/or errors; input data corrections (e.g., tip allocations, housing, vacation, PTO, holidays, wages).
Follow ARAMARK policies and safety/sanitation procedures.
May be required to work nights, weekends, or as business needs dictate.
Arrive on time and in uniform as required.
Note: Job duties may change or be added without formal notice to meet business needs.
Qualifications
2-5 years in an office setting with administrative functions; HR experience preferred; ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to create, plan, and manage creative HR strategies.
Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
Proficiency with office equipment and standard software (computer, telephone, copier, scanner, etc.).
Physical requirements may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required where applicable.
