Xpedient Logistics
Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider, helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment, and labor needs.
The role involves operating powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts with fork or clamp attachments. Tasks include loading/unloading pallets and cases, picking/staging orders, putting away pallets, and other general forklift work.
Responsibilities
Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety Sit-down lift experiences preferred Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience Must be super-efficient in all tasks required Put away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forklift Picking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipment Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loading Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy Report quality variances Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion Assist in any required physical inventories Complete daily inspection of equipment Perform additional duties as assigned by management Ensure proper stock rotation Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents Qualifications
Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period 18 years or older Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment Driving a forklift Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets Working with standards of operation Safety
Observe and follow health and safety regulations Enforces operating instructions and safety policies Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures Maintain detailed records of safety incidents Assign designated safety personnel Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Xpedient Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers competitive wages, insurance benefits, paid time off, and holidays.
