Director of Marketing, Market Intelligence

to join our Global Products Group. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within the semiconductor equipment industry to support strategic decision-making across marketing, product development, and executive leadership. Overview

In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions help solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. What You’ll Do

Market & Competitor Research: Track industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations relevant to semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Conduct in-depth research on competitors’ product portfolios, pricing strategies, market share, and go-to-market approaches. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using traditional and advanced AI tools. Create dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate complex data into strategic insights. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, product management, and R&D teams to inform product roadmaps and positioning strategies. Support executive decision-making with timely intelligence briefings and scenario analyses. Monitoring & Forecasting: Forecast market shifts and identify potential threats or opportunities. Monitor competitor activities, patent filings, M&A activity, and customer feedback. Ethical Intelligence Gathering: Ensure all intelligence activities comply with legal and ethical standards. Who We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3–5 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategy within the semiconductor industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in analytics tools, databases, and visualization platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., etching, deposition, wet clean, lithography). Experience with technology scouting and patent analysis. Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics and regional market differences. Compensation & Benefits
