Victory Church The Small Groups Director provides ministry vision, support, and coordination of small groups, while ensuring alignment with global vision and values of Central Ministries. Providing leadership of the day-to-day operations and development of the Small Groups infrastructure and Discipleship process, supervision, training, and oversight for Group Leaders and Coaches. Overseeing day-to-day operations related to Groups and Discipleship. This role will prioritize building young adult engagement through relational discipleship and small group multiplication, in partnership with the campus pastor’s vision. You are part of one team, taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. You stay willing and eager to serve in big and small ways, from welcoming guests to picking up trash. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Small Groups Ministry (written, electronic, verbal, and personal). Responsible for being the Discipleship champion at the campus level, working in tandem with Central Small Groups Ministry to execute vision and strategies while collaborating with Ministry leads Serve as oversight for Ministry Leads in order that they are equipped with the communication, marketing, and resources needed to execute their respective ministry focus at the campus through small groups Develop recruiting and communication strategies for small groups Recruit and develop small group coaches to oversee training, meetings, and outreach Ensure the processing and connection of all applications for small group leaders Develop a team of Victory Ministry Leads through “Hero Making” Partner with campus Connections team for any necessary Discover Victory collaborations. Implement established SOPs for Small Groups and develop a recruitment and training strategy for new team members Regularly connect with and train Small Group Ministry Leads, Coaches, and Leaders to cast vision and build relationships Provide Oversight for and steward Campus Small Groups Budget including forecasting and adherence. Recruiting and training members for small groups leadership and leaders for small groups coaching Assist as needed with biblical guidance, funerals, weddings, blessings and the campus ministry Assist with weekend platform communication Responsible for the development and oversight of young adult small groups and equipping young adult leadership, working in coordination with ministry leads for young adult ministries. Support Campus Pastor in initiatives surrounding staff and volunteer leadership development, weekend service pastoral support, and campus staff and volunteer leader meetings Provide care to young adult ministries congregants as needed alongside Young Adult Ministry Leads and Pastoral Staff Competencies
Interpersonal Skills Highly Collaborative Problem Solving Strategic Thinking Adaptable Proficient in Verbal & Written Communication Decision Making Self-Initiative Project Management Team Leadership Work Experience Requirements
3+ years of experience in a pastoral role, supporting a high-level executive, serving church leadership, project management and/or customer relations. 2+ years of public speaking/teaching or training experience High level of discretion in dealing with confidential information Ability to work in a fast paced, team campus environment Flexible schedule (available for weekends and evenings) Reliable transportation to travel between campuses Software/Computer Skills
Project Management software experience Proficiency with Mac hardware and Office/Outlook software Additional Requirements
