The Academic Dean is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, and academic integrity of the campus. This role oversees faculty, curriculum development, student success initiatives, accreditation compliance, and overall academic operations. Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8a-5pm. Employment: Permanent Hire. Location: Garden Grove, CA. Requirements

Master's degree in an Academic Area, Education (required). Doctorate degree in an Academic Area, Education (preferred). Eight (8) years leadership experience in education and Four (4) years experience teaching or acting in an administrative role within a post-secondary institution (preferred). Responsibilities

Prior experience as an Academic Dean (preferred). Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables include: Provide curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, state, and federal requirements Implement training programs and workshops for faculty/staff for professional development Lead the campus student retention efforts and provide support for program directors and faculty with retention activities, strategy, and initiative Manage budgetary and financial planning for the academic division Foster relationships with external partners, including businesses, advisory boards, community organizations, and accrediting bodies Top Skills: strategic planning, budget management, accreditation standards, and higher education.
