Overview

Provide the Navy client with support throughout the annual Defense Authorization and Appropriations process. Leverage PPBE systems and databases to coordinate, track, report, and analyze to support government decisions on requirements, milestones, and progress. Provide analysis to support the development and implementation of Navy and Marine Corps strategy and policy. Analyze risk-based strategies for processes and planning. Analyze and track metrics for strategy implementation. Provide analysis to identify, define, and close requirements. Responsibilities

Support the Navy client through the annual Defense Authorization and Appropriations process. Coordinate, track, report, and analyze using PPBE systems and databases to inform government decisions on requirements and milestones. Provide analysis to support development and implementation of Navy and Marine Corps strategy and policy. Analyze risk-based strategies for processes and planning and track metrics for strategy implementation. Identify, define, and close requirements through analysis and collaboration with stakeholders. Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a professional work environment. Experience with Congressional or legislative affairs and the DoD Authorization and Appropriations process, including POM, BES, Budget Exhibit preparation, and interaction with senior Congressional staff and DoD/Navy officials. Experience with Navy staff, Defense, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command (COCOM) staff. Experience with requirements analysis in Navy and Marine Corps programs. Experience with direct client interactions, project delivery, presentations, and leading client meetings. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of DoD financial management policies, data analysis, and visualization tools. Ability to track acquisition and procurement goals through the legislative cycle and execute tasks with minimal direction. Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree. Additional Qualifications

Experience on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Staffer, DoD/Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, or DoD Budget Service Liaison. Experience with PBIS and Navy ERP TOM. Experience with drafting communications to Congressional Defense Committees as part of annual Authorization and Appropriations. Ability to work independently and creatively; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required. Compensation

Salary range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, experience, and other factors. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Identity Statement
