Overview Pfannenberg is a global supplier of thermal management and signaling technologies. We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the successful design, development, and execution of manufacturing processes for existing and new products. What Youll Do

Lead and mentor the manufacturing engineering team.

Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

Oversee process design, line balancing, and equipment selection for existing and new products.

Manage capital projects for equipment upgrades and process automation.

Ensure manufacturability and DFM/A principles are applied during NPI (New Product Introduction).

Collaborate with quality, production, and R&D teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and PFMEAs.

Support compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., UL, ISO).

Identify and lead cost-reduction, throughput, and yield improvement projects.

What You Need

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering (or related field).

10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI project execution.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, and automation systems.

Familiarity with ERP systems, BOM structures, and change management processes (SAP is a plus).

Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in Engineering or Business.

Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma (e.g., Green or Black Belt).

Experience with electro-mechanical product manufacturing.
