The Senior Quality Manager – Multi-Site Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving quality excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. This role owns the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide quality systems, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The Senior Quality Manager leads cross-functional teams to elevate quality performance, reduce risk, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This position reports to senior operations leadership and helps shape the long-term quality vision for the organization. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a multi-site quality strategy that aligns with corporate goals, customer requirements, and industry best practices. Enterprise Quality Systems: Own and optimize the Quality Management System (QMS) across all sites, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ASHRAE, and other relevant standards. Performance Management: Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) across sites, driving data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Operational Excellence: Lead cross-site initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework using Six Sigma, Lean, and advanced quality methodologies. Risk Mitigation: Oversee implementation of SPC, FMEA, DOE, and other tools to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks. New Product Introduction (NPI): Partner with engineering and operations to ensure robust quality planning and flawless execution of NPI across facilities. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality managers, engineers, and technicians across multiple locations. Supplier Quality: Drive supplier quality performance through audits, corrective actions, and capability assessments, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. Customer Advocacy: Serve as the senior point of contact for customer quality concerns, escalations, and third-party audits. Culture Building: Champion a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. Compliance Oversight: Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for internal and external audits across all sites. Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership on quality trends, risks, and opportunities. Initial Focus Areas

Quality Escapes Reduction: Reduce quality escapes to the field by working with cross-functional teams to drive quality upstream in the manufacturing process. Team Transformation: Build and transform the current quality team to meet evolving operational and strategic needs. Quality Culture: Drive a culture of Quality First to reduce delivery time and cost across operations. Standardization: Develop common Quality systems and processes leveraging Modine QMS across all plants to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability. Required Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in quality leadership within manufacturing, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment. Proven success in leading quality initiatives across multiple sites or business units. Deep expertise in ISO 9001, ASHRAE standards, and regulatory compliance. Advanced proficiency in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical quality tools. Strong background in manufacturing processes including welding, brazing, assembly, and testing. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders. Experience with quality data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel).
