Litigation Associate (Junior to Senior-Level) Location:
Chicago, IL Experience:
Class of 2023-2018 A prestigious law firm is seeking litigation associates at junior, mid-level, and senior experience levels to join its highly regarded Chicago Litigation Group. The firm handles complex commercial litigation matters across a wide range of industries, including contract disputes, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, merger-related litigation, bankruptcy, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience with discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation. Exposure to cybersecurity and data privacy law is a plus. The Litigation Group handles a variety of complex commercial claims, such as joint venture and partnership disputes, statutory claims, non-compete litigation, and control disputes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases in a dynamic and collaborative team. Responsibilities
Assist in complex commercial litigation, including discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation. Manage and contribute to all stages of litigation, including case strategy and trial preparation. Work closely with senior associates and partners to handle commercial disputes and various complex claims. Engage in writing briefs, motions, and other litigation-related documents. Participate in and gain exposure to a wide range of legal areas, including cybersecurity and data privacy. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) required. 1-5 years of litigation experience for junior to mid-level candidates (Class of 2023-2018). Strong experience with discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial activities. Exposure or interest in cybersecurity and data privacy law is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is
$235,000 – $420,000 , depending on experience and other relevant factors. In addition to a competitive salary, the firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a hybrid work model, professional development opportunities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
