Logos Space
Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of the commercial enterprise users and government users. We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide.
Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as an RF Systems Engineer, where you will play a key role in defining, analyzing, and validating the RF system architecture for our next-generation Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the integration of highly efficient RF components and subsystems, optimizing the overall performance of the satellite communication system.
This role demands both technical expertise in RF systems and a hands-on approach to solving complex problems. You will be responsible for translating system-level requirements into detailed RF designs, performing link budget analyses, and contributing to the development and testing of cutting-edge RF technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, end-to-end RF system architecture, and integration of communication subsystems.
As an RF Systems Engineer on the Logos team, you will play a critical role in the definition, analysis, and validation of our LEO satellite system architecture. From high-level system requirements down to integration and performance evaluation, you will help ensure the system delivers reliable and optimized RF performance.
The full responsibilities include:
Define RF system architecture and lead flow-down of top-level requirements across subsystem blocks
Collaborate across teams working on antennas, RF front-ends, baseband, and digital interfaces to ensure seamless system integration
Perform RF link budget analysis, simulations, and trades to validate architectural decisions
Drive development and traceability of system-level requirements, ensuring alignment from concept to deployment
Analyze test data, support troubleshooting, and contribute to verification and validation activities
Document technical work and contribute to system-level design reviews and external deliverables
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with relevant design and analysis work experience
5+ years of experience in RF systems engineering for satellite or aerospace communication systems
In-depth understanding of RF propagation, link budgets, and system-level RF architecture
Experience collaborating across hardware, RF, and digital systems teams
Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools such as MATLAB, SystemVue, or similar
Strong communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
Experience with LEO satellite communications systems and high-throughput payloads
Familiarity with antenna array design, beamforming, or digital pre-distortion techniques
Experience in writing, managing, and tracing system and interface requirements
Hands-on experience in test, integration, or field deployment of RF systems
Familiarity with Ka- or V-band systems and advanced modulation schemes
