The Store Manager partners with District & Regional Leadership, Human Resources, and Store Support Center to pursue year-over-year increases, best-in-class customer experience, profitability through optimized staffing, shrink reduction, and expense management. Responsibilities

Lead store partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed customer expectations, building long-standing relationships. Develop and deliver product knowledge across categories and create training plans for store partners to achieve full competency in categories such as western boots, work boots, denim, hats, and add-ons. Assess and communicate localized customer needs to the District Manager. Analyze and measure business trends to maximize sales and meet or exceed key metrics and goals. Review sales goals with partners, provide coaching and recognition, and lead by example on the sales floor during peak hours. Ensure adequate staffing to meet business needs and manage payroll expenses. Adapt to changing business needs and procedures; adjust schedules, communicate payroll implications, implement directives, and train staff on new policies with District/Region/Store Support Center collaboration. Ensure merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortments adhere to visual guidelines; educate partners on these guidelines. Lead and coach associates in customer engagement through the Boot Barn Credit Card and B Rewarded Loyalty Programs; drive accountability for individual and team goals. Plan and execute experiential events in partnership with the District Manager, including community outreach. Ensure the store leadership team understands and embraces their roles per the store’s leadership matrix. Complete opening and closing procedures to company standards and comply with Time and Attendance policies. Maintain professionalism in communication, attitude, teamwork, and attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned by store leadership or district/support center partners. Employment characteristics
