Summary & Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
As an Investments Summer Intern, you’ll dive into underwriting, asset management, management services, and development across the full investment lifecycle from analyzing new opportunities to managing partnerships in our seniors housing, wellness housing, and medical facilities portfolio.
You will work alongside seasoned professionals on high-priority projects, applying analytical skills and clear communication to make a real impact.
You Will Have The Opportunity To
Learn & Apply Investment Fundamentals
Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities from initial valuation through closing
Assist in underwriting acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations
Build and refine financial models, budgets, and forecasts
Research market supply and demand fundamentals to assess property and market risk
Engage with Industry Leaders
Participate in weekly Investment Committee meetings to observe and contribute to high-level decision-making
Collaborate with partners and operators to strengthen relationships and drive asset performance
Join site visits and market tours to understand on-the-ground operations and market dynamics
Participate in meetings with management teams to evaluate strategies and operational approaches
Develop Analytical & Strategic Skills
Contribute to variance and liquidity analyses to inform investment decisions
Monitor leasing activity and operator performance across our portfolio
Update ARGUS models and other portfolio management tools

Minimum Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Previous internship or relevant work experience is preferred but not required.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position.
