Responsible to lead a unified global team of solution engineers, architects, and solution managers. CA&I Solution executive leader responsible for shaping, building, and enabling solutions by connecting market, clients, partners, and delivery. Responsible to lead a unified global team of solution engineers, architects, and solution managers. Converts business needs, product thinking, and cutting-edge technology into measurable client outcomes. Instills, plans, and operates with revenue, product, and sales mindsets. Market & Portfolio Strategy
Track macro trends across cloud, applications, data, AI, and security. Set and shape the Unisys CA&I portfolio and roadmaps. Build, review, and publish a 12/18/24-month solutions roadmap with AI First and AI Infusion. Define win themes, differentiation, and positioning of CA&I solutions in the market and develop compelling pitch. Lead, prepare, and participate in trade shows, and Industry events to evangelize Unisys CA&I solutions. Solution Lifecycle Ownership
Lead and drive the solution owners to successfully manage solution lifecycle of ideation → incubation → MVP → launch → scale → sunset. Maintain an “always-release-ready” solution tied to demand signals, client needs, and partner innovation. Establish solution framework with KPI’s to measure and publish solution effectiveness. Track and report the count of solution assets leveraged to win and deliver client engagements. Engage with solutions marketing teams on a regular basis to ensure that the solutions portfolio is actively supported. Sales Enablement & Pursuit Support
Lead, participate, and drive to shape early strategic pursuits and complex deals. Establish mechanisms and drive the team to publish playbooks, reference architectures, competitive takeouts, and pricing guardrails. Coach teams for executive demos, sales enablement sessions, and solution readiness. Run quarterly solution roadmap, solution demo, and quality reviews. Delivery & Engineering Readiness
Codify reference implementations, build accelerators to be utilized with “factory” delivery patterns in Global Delivery model. Collaborate with delivery teams on with solution engineering team on. Establish and maintain modern engineering practices with AI First mentality. Drive DevSecOps, platform engineering, SRE, centralized security posture management, and compliance-by-design guardrails across the solutions engineering team. Create reusable accelerators, templates, and toolchains to improve speed/quality of delivery of internal solutions and for external client needs. Champion, establish, and propagate “Inner Source” methodology between various teams and business units. Partner, Advisory & Analyst Ecosystem
Curate hyperscaler, cybersecurity, data/ISV alliances. Build joint GTM and co-sell motions. Drive analyst relations (Gartner/Forrester/IDC) and briefing cadence. Engage strategic advisors and boards to validate roadmaps and positioning. Executive Communications & Governance
Prepare, evangelize, and present to Executive and Investment Committees to secure funding and priorities. Brief executive stakeholders, steering committees, and boards on roadmap, risk, and ROI. Ensure compliance with Unisys enterprise standards, security, and regulatory expectations. Define and manage shared objectives jointly with Delivery & GTM leaders, enabling integrated tracking of success, informed budget allocation, and optimal utilization of solution engineering capacity. People & Culture
Lead a high-caliber global team (NA/EMEA/APAC/LATAM). Foster psychological safety, continuous learning, and outcome accountability. Establish talent pipelines, certification goals, and succession plans. Required Qualifications
15+ years in tech consulting or product-led services; 5+ years at VP/Director leading multi-disciplinary solution teams. Depth in two or more: cloud transformation, modern app engineering, data platforms, GenAI/ML, cyber resilience. Mastery of product frameworks (e.g., Pragmatic, SAFe LPM) and value-selling (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger). Board-level storytelling; proven stakeholder management and executive presence. Experience leading globally distributed teams and cross-functional initiatives. BS in CS/Engineering or related; MBA/MS preferred. Nice to Have
Background in a large GSI and an AI startup. Experience defining, publishing, and managing roadmaps. Prior sales or pre-sales leadership experience. Exposure to open-source ecosystems and cloud marketplaces. Travel & Work Model: ~30% global and domestic travel to clients, delivery centers, partners, and industry events. Primary base in Virginia; collaborates across time zones.
