You will help provide warm and friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. Responsibilities

Organizes, plans, directs, controls, and supervises functions and personnel within the dietary department to provide food and nutrition services in a long-term care facility Lead quality dining programs to enhance the meal experience and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff Trains workers in procedures and proper operation and maintenance of equipment Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions and activities Supervises and evaluates the quality of work of department employees Forecasts and plans purchases of supplies and equipment Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and maintains proper staffing levels Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel records Conducts regular management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments Manages a cost-effective program within budget Maintains survey readiness and compliance with regulations Maintains relations with residents, visitors, and community departments Participates in facility meetings and committees Follows Company policies and promotes professional growth of the department Conducts quality assurance rounds and inspections and reports monthly initiatives, goals, and accomplishments Promotes resident satisfaction and maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary operation Requirements

Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality with study in food service or restaurant management from an accredited institution Food service supervisory experience required; at least two years in long-term care preferred ServSafe Certification for Managers, National Restaurant Association Certified Dietary Manager or Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP) as per ANFP credentialing Skilled in motivating and supervising staff Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality attitude Ability to work under pressure and meet goals; strong public speaking and administrative skills Ability to work all shifts as needed Proficient in Windows-based software (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) This posting does not restrict the duties of the role and may require other job-related instructions as needed, subject to applicable laws.
