The Associate Marketing Manager will assist with setting the global brand strategy and developing marketing plans for regional teams to execute in market. This role provides strategic thinking and drives key planning and activations across a variety of platforms and initiatives. What You’ll Do — Responsibilities
Support brand growth and relevance for the American Girl brand Craft compelling narratives across brand, content and consumer touchpoints to deepen brand connection Introduce and present new campaigns, strategies and/or research findings Ensure brand marketing projects are supported by business strategy, objectives and insights Synthesize multiple data points from various teams to create strategic POVs and maintain narrative integrity Translate consumer and business insights into strategic marketing briefs Collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout the global marketing plan development and launch process Own brand asset development (photo & video), manage asset tracker, assess creative work for strategic alignment, and manage partner approvals Work with content & global publishing teams to bring books to market on time and on budget Support franchise initiatives across content, gaming, consumer products and live events Assist in managing the overarching marketing calendar to drive alignment across global markets Independently complete consumer and competitive research and provide actionable recommendations Collaborate with global subsidiaries to address needs and market feedback Act as point of contact for brand inquiries and dissemination of brand information and assets What We’re Looking For — Qualifications
5+ years (2 years with MBA) of experience in brand marketing, franchise management/marketing, content marketing, or purpose-driven strategy/marketing Thorough understanding of marketing mix and KPIs Experience analyzing data and managing financials Ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations Strong presentation skills and ability to present to large groups Highly organized, independent, detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills Strong time management, planning and project execution skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills for collaboration Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel Comfortable in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and change, focusing on solutions The annual base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $125,000. This range is indicative of projected hiring range; final salary will be determined based on location, skills and experience.
