Security Professional - Tech Site Patrol

Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and building positive relationships through exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver\u2019s license in the job state, as you will be responsible for mobile patrols and responding to situations across the assigned area. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor the premises for unusual activity or potential threats, reporting findings according to Allied Universal protocols. Support access control processes by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as needed. Document all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift in accordance with company and site-specific requirements. Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver\u2019s license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions only. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
