$28-$32 per hour Job Summary
Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To understand and respond to all guest and employee needs in a timely and professional manner. To assist, as directed, to train as required, monitor scheduling, to support the food and beverage employees to maintain the highest possible levels of employee morale and departmental productivity. To oversee the proper and efficient preparation of all foods for events, employee meals and special functions, ensuring quality and quantity standards are being met. To follow all specifications to properly and efficiently prepare and present all food and beverage items to be served, including accommodating special guest requests. To follow and direct specifications to properly handle all product used in the food and beverage operation including preparation, covering, labeling, dating, proper storage of prepared and unprepared food items. Oversee proper rotation of food items in the operation to minimize waste. To promptly respond to product shortages or excess to ensure the needed product is on hand as well as minimize waste. To maintain and promote the cleanliness and safety standards of the operation. To follow all specified procedures to open or close the kitchen. To perform inventory of products for ordering and to assist in the month end inventory process. Qualifications
