Overview
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (open rank) of Professional Practice
is a non-tenure track position with Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick. The Department of Management and Global Business invites applications to teach courses in Strategy, International Business, and Management Skills, and other courses offered by the Department at undergraduate and MBA levels on Newark and New Brunswick campuses and other locations where RBS courses are taught. The appointment is renewable at the end of the current term, with a start date of September 1, 2026. Review of applications will begin on August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
Developing and teaching undergraduate and MBA-level courses offered by the Management and Global Business Department on Newark and New Brunswick campuses, and other locations where RBS courses are taught, as determined by the Department Chair.
Engaging in service and/or outreach activities for the Department and/or the School.
Engaging in sufficient professional and/or research activities to maintain currency with AACSB faculty qualification standards.
Institution Overview Rutgers Business School is located in the New York metropolitan area and spans campuses in Newark and New Brunswick. Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick has the leading public MBA program in the New York metropolitan region. Faculty members are expected to teach on both Newark and New Brunswick campuses and are assigned an office on either campus, depending on needs.
Qualifications
Experience teaching undergraduate and MBA-level courses in Strategy, International Business, and Management Skills, or related areas.
Ability to engage in service and/or outreach activities and to pursue professional and/or research activities to maintain currency with AACSB standards.
