EY’s Life Sciences team advises clients in the Life Sciences sector on setting strategic decisions to address risks impacting their organization’s performance and impacting patient safety.
The opportunity
As a Senior in Governance, Risk, and Compliance, you will have the opportunity to implement enterprise governance and compliance frameworks, identify control points in need of improvement, optimization, or automation, and liaise with operational risk teams to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. You will support the selection of compliance software and analyze data to guide automated compliance processes.
We are looking for a Senior that can drive innovation and excellence in our lab transformation strategy and lab systems implementation team within the Life Sciences sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in lab operations and the underlying technical capability of the systems that support lab operations (including LIMS, ELN, LES, etc.) with a proven track record of delivering LIMS implementations and modernization of lab operations.

Your Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects with a focus on quality and effective risk management.
Continuous process improvement and the identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis.
Guide others using depth of expertise and interpret internal/external issues to recommend quality solutions.
Meet performance objectives and metrics set locally; travel (up to 70%) may be required as needed by external clients.
Help design the operating model of digital labs and deliver data strategies to enable agile processes in client operating models.
Formulate technical solution designs and lead conversations for Life Sciences clients; architect transformative solutions with process owners.
Lead delivery in the following technical areas for the solution:
Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend policy changes
Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria
Manage engagement economics and resource planning
Collaborate with clients to oversee program management activities related to Digital Lab Transformations
Provide strategic expertise on business case and transformation strategies
Determine financial plan and budgeting to optimize costs with Digital Labs
Lead a diverse team of professionals, coaching, leadership, and career development
Translate complex requirements into actionable insights for C-suite and Director-level stakeholders
Serve as a technical authority on LIMS architecture and champion change within clients
Orchestrate execution of Digital Lab Transformation projects, ensuring adherence to specs, deadlines, and quality
Maintain expert understanding of industry trends to inform solution architecture in digital labs
Contribute to delivering high-quality client services and maintaining long-term client relationships

Proven experience with large-scale implementations and high-quality delivery

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Biomedical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing or related field
3+ years of Life Sciences work experience, including regulatory statutes, GxP processes or compliance programs
3-5 years of experience with LIMS, ELN, or Lab Automation Systems
Programming ability (Python, LabWare LIMS Basic, SQL)
Instrument integration (file/API connections) and enterprise systems integration
Experience implementing LabWare or LabVantage LIMS systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
