Hanwha Aerospace USA’s Next Gen Program provides a participant a realistic view of manufacturing, which can lead to industry experience and knowledge. The Next Gen Program complements forms of training and development received in classroom-based training alongside hands-on industry experience. The Next Gen Hourly Employee Program is a talent pipeline program within Hanwha Aerospace (HAU) that allows current manufacturing students to shadow within the company alongside taking classes at their respective educational institution. Every program participant must complete a total of 160 hours of job shadowing. Shadowing should be completed during the time that you are not attending classes. HAU will work with each participant to accommodate shadow hours with classroom hours. You will be compensated for both job shadowing and classroom hours. Once you complete the program and a 90-day probationary period, you will then be eligible for a full-time position. Participants are required to submit time sheets for the class hours attended on a bi-weekly basis. Time sheets must be submitted to the Next Gen Program Manager on Friday prior to a pay period. All time sheets need to be signed by both the participant and instructor. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform. Physical Demands

Some lifting, moving instrumentation, performing tests in various areas of the facility required. Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 35 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility. Work Environment

Work usually performed in a combination of office and plant setting. Qualifications

Participants must be in 2nd semester of college/program. Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Complete 160 HAU shadow hours.
