Overview
Content Management Consultant, Editorial Tooling and Process Lead at Wolters Kluwer. You will drive the evolution of editorial workflows and digital-first content strategies within the Editorial, Content & Production (ECP) team, leading initiatives that enhance how expert content is created, managed, and delivered. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to identify and implement tooling, including AI and machine learning, to streamline processes and empower editorial teams. Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional efforts to assess and implement digital-first enhancements, including enrichment and automation. Represent LRUS in divisional tooling boards, advocating for U.S. tooling priorities. Interpret business challenges, develop use cases, and recommend best practices to improve processes, products, and tools. Act as product owner for tooling initiatives, overseeing requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation. Drive integration of technology into editorial processing, for example Gen AI and Machine learning. Develop and enforce standards for use of AI in editorial workflows. Identify and implement process efficiencies through reuse, automation, and enrichment; document and lead change management within ECP. Consider operations through the lens of Gen AI and identify and drive efficiencies throughout the ECP organization. Champion digital-first strategies and innovation within ECP and coordinate ECP involvement in transformational content initiatives. Support adoption of new tools and processes, balancing implementation impact with operational needs. Serve as an advisor to leadership by establishing and reporting on tooling migration metrics and efficiency gains, providing insights to guide decision-making. Collaborate with ECP leadership and Product Management to align tooling roadmaps with strategic goals and content and product strategy. Maintain project ownership while partnering with LRUS project management for execution support. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related practical experience. JD degree or legal training preferred. Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related practical experience. JD degree or legal training preferred. Experience: Understanding of the legal domain and our other markets. JIRA experience preferred but not essential. Lean, Scrum, or Agile training a plus. Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently, proactively, and take ownership of projects. Optimistic, “can do” attitude; enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Experience with big-picture, strategic thinking and intermediate systems architecture. Sufficient technical proficiency to learn proprietary editorial tools. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Experience acting as an operational change agent and developing and implementing operational efficiencies and workflow improvements. Promotes collaboration and establishes strong partnerships within own team and with other departments, divisions, and functions. Results-oriented and able to take concepts through to implementation. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams. Ability to learn and apply skills to varied situations and anticipate future needs. Comfortable with multiple complex projects running concurrently; innovative mindset and willingness to try new approaches. Ability to clearly communicate concepts, research findings, issues analysis, project evaluation results, and data interpretations. Benefits
