Data Scientist (CO - TS/SCI Poly Required) role at Themis Insight, LLC. We are hiring Data Scientists to work in Aurora, CO. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs. Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph. Responsibilities

Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets. Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using mathematics, statistics, computer science, and domain-specific knowledge. Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure that account for the features and limitations of NSA/CSS data holdings. Translate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data. Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences and make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions. Individual Capabilities/Experience Required

Data Scientist 2 — Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience clearly related to the position. Data Scientist 3 — Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. Other related degrees may be considered if they include substantial coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science (e.g., linear algebra, probability and statistics, machine learning, algorithms, programming). A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university. Relevant experience includes designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming (at least one high-level language such as Python and at least one mid-level language such as C), data mining, advanced statistical analysis, numerical methods, graph theory, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, and experience supporting a single or multiple domain areas. Themis Insight provides wage ranges in accordance with State Pay Transparency Laws. The projected pay range for this position is $145,000-$180,000. Pay will be commensurate with experience and other factors allowable by law.
