US Region Sourcing Leader
within the Services & Performance Business Unit (BUSP), you will be responsible for expanding and managing the domestic supplier base. Your mission is to significantly increase US-based purchasing while driving down the overall cost of spare parts for the US market.
Key Responsibilities
Expand the US supplier base across all direct material categories, including mechanical, electrical, standard parts, and module assemblies.
Collaborate with global sourcing teams to implement international strategies tailored to the US industrial landscape.
Partner with internal stakeholders (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to align sourcing initiatives with business priorities.
Define supplier profiles and selection criteria.
Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Assess supplier capabilities, capacity, and competitiveness through RFQs, TCO analysis, and benchmarking.
Lead supplier qualification and ramp-up activities in collaboration with Supplier Validation Engineers (SVE).
Establish framework supply agreements with selected suppliers.
Drive negotiations, conduct regular business reviews, and manage key commercial terms.
Monitor and ensure supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of cost-reduction initiatives leveraging various sourcing strategies.
Execute cost-saving projects aligned with the group’s strategic roadmap.
Maintain accurate sourcing roadmap data and track progress against targets.

Supplier operational performance (Quality, Delivery)
Compensation & Benefits In good faith and in alignment with current market data, the base salary for this position is estimated to range between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for:

Education & Skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience managing industrial goods (mechanical, electrical, and standard components).
Minimum of 7 years in sourcing and supplier development within international environments.
Strong background in establishing new supplier partnerships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Comfortable working in a complex, matrixed organization.
Self-driven with strong autonomy and time management skills.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally between 30-40% of the time.
