Methodist Health System Hours of Work: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Job Description: Responsible for assigning accurate CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and appropriate modifiers from medical records (paper or electronic) for outpatient and inpatient professional encounters. Assist in auditing E&M services against documentation and aid in training providers and staff on coding issues, supporting coding compliance activities. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in Health Information Management. At least 2 years recent outpatient coding experience, including primary care and surgical settings. Surgical coding experience in Trauma, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and/or Neurosurgery preferred. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist – Physician (CCS-P) with relevant experience required. Job Responsibilities:
