Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to grind test parts and preform in-process testing of Axial parts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Safety

Optimize safety/minimize risk Wear required PPE. Adhere to required safety precautions.

Read and understand work instructions and process control standards (PCS)

Access Paradigm to review and/or print WI or PCS. Recommend revisions and updates to the WI and PCS.

Set up machinery

Set up machines as required by in-house specifications for test parts. Calibrate IPT Program to in house standards. Hoffman Lap

Maintain machinery

Clean and organize machinery, equipment and work area. Perform required preventative maintenance. Request reorder of consumables as needed.

Operate machinery

IPT Program Magnetizer Hoffman Lap Density Scale Flux Meter Weigh Count Scale IPT Tracker

Verify and accurately record data into ERP computer system, manufacturing routers, logs, databases and control charts. Adhere to EEC Escalation Policy.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Up to one year of experience in manufacturing Experience in analysis and testing is a plus Successful Essential Behaviors:

Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise. Requires standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work and operation of machinery. Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.

Monday through Thursday, 3pm-1:30am 40 hours per week
