About The Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven

Account Director

to lead the development and execution of a five-year growth strategy for one or more of Kerry’s key accounts. This individual will act as the central point of contact for the customer, both internally and externally, and will be responsible for cultivating top-to-top relationships. The role requires building a strong pipeline of projects focused on foundational technologies, while driving sustainable and profitable growth across the account portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year strategic growth plan aligned with Kerry’s business objectives Collaborate with business development and commercial leadership to implement long-term strategic initiatives

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong senior-level strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders Demonstrate technical understanding of Kerry’s Taste & Nutrition portfolio and drive its relevance across the customer’s business and brands

Commercial Leadership

Drive above-market growth through a robust and profitable sales pipeline Ensure margin expansion and revenue growth in line with strategic account plans Lead pricing strategy development and manage commercial negotiations in collaboration with finance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with internal teams including Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to deliver customer solutions Support the execution and servicing of the customer portfolio

Team Development

Coach and support technical sales and account managers to enhance team capability and business impact Promote accountability and continuous improvement across the commercial team

Qualifications And Skills

Extensive experience in the B2B food, beverage, or ingredients industry Deep knowledge of the functional ingredients landscape and value chain Demonstrated success in strategic account management and long-term planning Proven ability to influence and negotiate at a senior customer level Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset Track record of leading and developing high-performing commercial teams Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and drive cross-functional collaboration Strong execution skills paired with strategic thinking and vision Ability to work autonomously and manage complex customer relationships

The typical hiring range for this role is $140,467.00 to $244,122.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
