Our market-leading practice serves hedge funds and other asset managers with valuation of illiquid debt, equity, and complex securities to meet investor and regulatory financial reporting requirements. The team rapidly mobilizes the right experts across asset classes and industries, leveraging real-world transaction experience and market knowledge. Scope: Within our Portfolio Valuation practice, clients include many of the world’s largest hedge funds, private equity funds, direct lending funds, and business development companies. We advise on valuations to support investor and regulatory needs. The open position is for a Vice President based in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, or Dallas who will execute client engagements and grow Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory (PV) practice. Our Financial Valuation Advisory (FVA) practice seeks talented financial professionals at the Vice President level to focus on managing the execution of client engagements and building out the PV practice. While the primary execution and business development focus will be PV, all FVA practice members are expected to support firm growth by cross-selling other FVA, Corporate Finance, and Restructuring offerings. The PV-dedicated Vice President will be a fully integrated member of engagement teams (size 2–5). Responsibilities
Leading business and financial due diligence sessions with clients Providing leadership and guidance towards valuing companies, businesses, and securities Leading the valuation review process Directing the efforts of Associates and Financial Analysts Presenting valuation analyses and conclusions internally and externally Managing client deliverables Assisting in building and reviewing complex financial models related to securities or transaction structures Assisting in quality control, execution, and industry consultation across the financial advisory platform Creative content development, thought leadership, and cross-service collaboration Preparing fee proposals, scoping discussions, pitch materials, and internal pricing memoranda Pitching engagements and leading business development initiatives Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients Qualifications

A minimum of six years of experience in financial services for Vice Presidents Prior equity and/or debt valuation or related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced accounting, finance, financial modeling, and analytical abilities Experience managing Analysts/Associates or other personnel Entrepreneurial attitude: willingness to support a growing practice and contribute across offerings Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common databases Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work cooperatively with team members and client professionals Preferred Qualifications
Big Four valuation or independent valuation experience; or equivalent Master’s degree or progress toward an advanced degree CFA designation is a plus Compensation And Benefits

The firm’s salary range at posting is $145,000.00-$225,000.00; actual salary may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, service line, and location.
