Senior Frontend Web Applications Software Engineer
"What You’ll Be Doing" responsibilities and the role scope are described by NVIDIA as part of our Hardware Infrastructure team building new frontend tools and infrastructure to deliver highly available services for scalable web applications, development environments, repositories, data streams, and data visualization frameworks. The team is Agile with high production quality standards and creates tools used across the company for tracking, triaging, and debugging data processing flows. We are seeking motivated engineers to design and build a new generation of engaging, performant, and intuitive frontend applications. Responsibilities
Designing and developing user-facing features for modern web applications. Creating responsive, accessible, and visually compelling UI experiences. Collecting requirements and collaborating with end users to ensure workflows and interfaces meet their needs. Optimizing frontend performance and scalability. Working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. Building data visualization dashboards and interactive components for complex data flows. What We Need To See (Qualifications)
BS (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of relevant frontend development experience Proven knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred, or React or Angular). Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. Experience building and maintaining large-scale web applications with high usability standards. Solid understanding of browser rendering, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for integrating with backend services. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
Demonstrable knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, or similar). Experience with state management frameworks (Redux, Vuex, or equivalent). Background with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Storybook, etc.). Experience with automated testing frameworks for frontend (Jest, Cypress, Playwright). Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools (Webpack, Vite, Jenkins) with a strong eye for design and delivering polished, intuitive user experiences. Pay and Benefits
Base pay range: $148,000.00/yr - $287,500.00/yr. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay in similar positions. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.
