We seek a leader for Sales Engineering to manage technical sales support in the Central European region, evangelize CrowdStrike’s security platform to customers, partners, and the industry, and drive growth through effective team leadership.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Ensure effective technical sales coverage of the regional account base.

Partner with regional leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives.

Collaborate with Services, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Sales Operations for tactical planning and support.

Direct resource management and prioritization across the team.

Lead customer and partner meetings, relationship building, solution selling and problem resolution.

Provide guidance on complex technical issues with in-depth knowledge of CrowdStrike products, industry and solutions.

Develop and improve methods, techniques, and evaluation processes for CrowdStrike solutions.

Coach, mentor, and develop Sales Engineers to meet current and emerging sales opportunities.

Manage the operational line management of SE Managers, including performance management and development.

Ensure technical training for team members and, as needed, for partners.

Work with sales management to maximize efficient use of technical resources.

Provide guidance on company policies and participate in policy improvements affecting the organization.

Lead regional training delivery to sales staff and support pre-sales technical activity with partners and customers.

Respond to pre-sales inquiries, answer questions, and resolve issues from a technical perspective.

Support sales teams in prospect and customer situations as required; maintain market and competitive awareness.

Qualify opportunities technically and conduct POV evaluations with end users and partners.

Produce Security Assessment Reports post-POV evaluation and drive POV-to-revenue progression.

Train distributors and partners to deploy successful POVs and assist with Security Assessment Reports.

Liaise between partners/customers and corporate headquarters for technical requirements.

Aim to exceed quarterly revenue targets in collaboration with sales teams.

Monitor competitive landscape and regional market development.

Support regional marketing activities as appropriate.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

Line management and remote leadership experience.

Pre-sales technical experience with strong understanding of networking and/or security.

Self-starter who can perform with limited management time and attention.

Ability to engage management at multiple levels within a territory to improve alignment.

Understanding of market issues and trends affecting IT business.

Willingness to travel abroad to client meetings as necessary.

Strong people management and leadership skills; proven ability to manage senior sales teams.

Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Proven problem-solving skills and strong customer focus; C-level relationship-building experience.

Experience with channel partners and IT security business; presales experience with technical knowledge in security.

Familiarity with hacking and exploitation tools, common malware families, and anti-virus/IDS/IPS evasion techniques.

Broad knowledge of IT technologies and security solutions; ability to articulate business value and technical advantages.

Business-level German and English, written and spoken.

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH) are a plus.
