We are seeking a Construction Professional Liability Underwriter with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in New York, Boston, Plymouth Meeting, Chicago, San Francisco, or Atlanta. The successful candidate will be hardworking, intellectually curious, passionate, and always striving for excellence, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities
Develop and grow the Construction Professional book of business, including primary and excess, practice, and project-specific Contractors Professional and Protective Liability (CPPI) policy. Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships nationwide. Work closely with underwriting, loss control, claims, and legal teams to evaluate risk and provide solutions to customers. Maintain a profitable renewal book and travel up to 20% of the time. Qualifications
5+ years of design (A&E) and/or construction professional underwriting experience. Strong underwriting acumen and existing regional wholesale and retail broker relationships. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience. What We Offer
