Our Sales Development organization is the engine behind Intercom’s growth, both as a revenue driver and a talent pipeline. We identify and engage prospects across small business, mid-market, and enterprise segments, guiding them through the earliest stages of the sales journey. You will join as a member of the founding Sales Development team in San Francisco, building and managing a high-performing group of outbound and inbound professionals. This is a rare opportunity to shape the foundation of our go-to-market engine in one of the fastest-growing areas of technology. We are looking for a leader with proven sales experience and a strong curiosity for AI technologies, someone who can thrive in a complex and rapidly evolving environment. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and coaching SDRs, establishing repeatable processes that generate high-quality pipeline and revenue, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. What skills do I need?

At least 2 years of people management experience in the SaaS industry Strong team management skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams 2+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving quota Experience leading inbound and outbound teams who strategically engage with potential customers using a personalized, multi-channel approach centered on value Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and uncover insights that inform strategy A natural mentor and coach with a focus on developing others Experience managing complex internal ecosystems and building strong partnerships across teams Alignment with Intercom’s values Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and agility AI fluency and passion for applying emerging technology to sales We offer a competitive salary and meaningful equity, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, regular compensation reviews, flexible paid time off policy, and paid parental leave program.
