Applied Research Solutions is looking for a full-time LMS Administrator to support the Cyber Training Academy in Elkridge, MD. Configures curriculum, learning plans, profiles, test groups, assessments, knowledge checks and surveys based on the Government's approved requirements and ongoing updates to requirements. Deploys Shared Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and non-SCORM items. Troubleshoots, documents, and properly escalates issues. Creates and executes test scenarios related to updates, patches, and maintenance cycles. Assists onsite with student support requests and accreditation requests. Responsibilities Include:

Manage the learning management system (LMS) with a specific focus on cybersecurity content, standards, and security. Responsible for the system's day-to-day operations, user support, content delivery, and compliance tracking for cybersecurity trainees. Handle day-to-day operations, including system configuration, feature management, and user permissions. Manage integrations with third-party tools and platforms, such as authentication systems (e.g., Active Directory) and cybersecurity content authoring software. Implement security measures within the LMS to protect sensitive training data, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations. Monitor the LMS for performance issues, conduct system updates and patches, and ensure high availability for all users. Upload, configure, and maintain cybersecurity learning materials, modules, and courses. Handle the entire user lifecycle, including creating, updating, and archiving user accounts for students and instructors. Provide front-line technical support to users, troubleshooting access issues, content delivery problems, and system bugs. Other duties as assigned in the detailed description under Responsibilities. Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen Active Secret Clearance Preferred. 3 years of professional IT experience Associate's degree in instructional technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field Proven experience administering a learning management system, with experience in a technical training or educational environment being a strong asset. Understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and common threats is essential for context and for securing the training platform. Expertise with common LMS software (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, or Cornerstone). Familiarity with eLearning standards like SCORM and xAPI, as well as basic web technologies like HTML and CSS. Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
