Lead daily operations of the assigned VMFH medical center with implementation of strategies from the CEO, CommonSpirit Health, and Market President, in collaboration with site and divisional leadership, medical staff, service line leaders, and others to ensure high-quality patient care in a values-based environment. Participate as a member of the VMFH Hospital Leadership Team and contribute to decisions affecting objectives, KPIs, and division-wide strategies. Develop a patient-centered culture aligned with VMFH mission, vision and values; meet or exceed KPIs for patient quality, safety, experience, and EBITDA margin targets, and other VMFH/CommonSpirit metrics. Establish and maintain relations with the VMMC medical staff; develop, plan, direct and grow clinical programs; evaluate and improve operations to achieve outcomes and key metrics. Oversee financial management: budgets, productivity, revenue and expenses, internal controls; oversee capital improvements and equipment purchases; partner on growth initiatives; lead strategic plans and projects to improve operations and quality of care. Collaborate with VMFH Strategic Service Line on growth initiatives and align with healthcare reform mandates and new delivery models. Exercise sound judgment, foster positive relations, and lead action-oriented hospital management with a professional approach. Maintain close ties to hospital and ambulatory departments, medical group stakeholders, and medical staff to ensure efficient, high-quality, cost-effective operations and achievement of metrics. Qualifications
Education: M.H.A., M.B.A., or M.S. in healthcare administration, business administration, public health administration, or related field (required). Experience: Five years as a senior leadership executive in a healthcare facility (required). Where You\'ll Work
