Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in IT or business administration preferred. 1+ year of experience in inventory control, asset management, or a related field. Familiarity with inventory management software and requisition systems. Strong organizational and data entry skills. Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily scanning and tracking of IT equipment across all departments. Manage and maintain the student laptop loaner program. Conduct comprehensive annual inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain up-to-date inventory records in the college's asset management system. Receive and inspect incoming IT equipment. Tag equipment that meets the IT threshold standards with appropriate asset labels. Log new assets into the inventory system with detailed specifications. Enter and track requisitions for IT-related purchases. Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain documentation for all IT procurement activities. Update inventory databases regularly. Generate reports as needed for audits, budgeting and planning. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience in an educational or IT environment. Knowledge of IT hardware and peripherals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
