Élephante, Santa Monica’s iconic rooftop restaurant, is seeking a seasoned
General Manager
to lead operations at one of Los Angeles’ highest-volume, upscale dining destinations. With
annual sales of over $25 million , Élephante is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience, offering coastal Italian-inspired cuisine, a world-class cocktail program, and unrivaled ocean views. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of a large-scale, high-volume restaurant while maintaining elevated service standards. Team Development:
Recruit, train, and inspire a large front-of-house team to consistently deliver best-in-class hospitality. Financial Oversight:
Drive revenue and profitability with full
P&L responsibility
across $25M in annual sales. Service Excellence:
Partner with the culinary and bar leadership teams to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction. Guest Engagement:
Be a visible, hands-on leader during service, embodying professionalism and approachability. Compliance & Standards:
Maintain adherence to health, safety, and labor regulations. Qualifications
5+ years of senior management experience in
upscale, high-volume dining
($15M+ annual sales or equivalent). Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in driving profitability and controlling costs. Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
