About the Position
This dynamic, full-time role combines the responsibilities of a
Medical Assistant
and
Scribe , offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dermatology providers by assisting with patient care and medical documentation.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to the following): Assist providers with patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures. Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, exam notes, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR). Ensure smooth workflow by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, medical instruments, and supplies. Educate patients on post-procedure care and treatment instructions. Work closely with the dermatology team to provide a seamless patient experience. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Schedule
Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dermatology clinic (preferred but not required). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and thorough knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.
