The PRN Hospitalist practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. The PRN Hospitalist provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. Requirements
Successful applicants must be board certified (or eligible) in Internal Medicine. Possess active FL MD Licensure or have eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida. About the Center
Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are expanding our faculty to meet substantial institutional growth. The Cancer Center comprises a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 15 state of the art operating suites, a 30 bed intensive care unit, a high volume screening program, and a basic science research facility. Responsibilities
Provide patient care as a PRN Hospitalist within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Contribute to clinical, research, and educational activities within the academic medical enterprise. Support administrative activities as assigned by leadership. Qualifications
