Dermatologist to join our emergency and specialty team in Augusta, GA. We are an emergency and specialty facility recently relocated to a newly constructed, 12,000-square-foot building (Phase I of a 20,000-square-foot expansion). Our hospital includes 11 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites and offers advanced diagnostics including CT, digital radiology, C‑Arm fluoroscopy, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, a Snyder oxygen cage, Idexx labs, iStat, and an expansive pharmacy. We carry blood products and have on-call whole blood donors available when needed. Specialties include Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Oncology. Responsibilities
Deliver expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of complex skin, ear, and allergic conditions in pets as a veterinary dermatologist. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as dermoscopy, intradermal allergy testing, and video otoscopy, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of life for pets and provide peace of mind for their families. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners about chronic dermatologic conditions, treatment options, and long-term care strategies. Engage in continuous learning and professional growth, with opportunities to participate in clinical research and mentor others. Qualifications
