St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a General Neurologist to join its Neurology department within the Orthwein Brain and Spine Center. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and a strong referral network, within a collaborative, physician-friendly environment. Be part of an expanding team of four neurologists working in a wide range of diagnoses, including headaches, Botox injections, infusions, epilepsy and dementia. Both inpatient and outpatient opportunities are available. Inpatient only opportunity: 7 on, 7 off schedule Outpatient opportunity with the option to focus on movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, dementia, epilepsy or other subspecialties Average patient volume: Clinic 15–18 per day; Hospital consults 5–10 per day Access to a clinic space with an on-site EEG/EMG lab Collaborate with Neurosurgeons, Pain Management specialists, and Brain & Spine therapy providers About St. Luke’s & the Orthwein Brain and Spine Center
Certified Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission State-of-the-art technology and procedures, including minimally invasive spine surgery Deep brain stimulation Epilepsy surgery Electromyographically guided botulinum toxin injections EMG and nerve conduction studies Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
Education:
MD/DO Experience:
Training in neurophysiology or neuromuscular disorders is a plus. Ability to read EMGs is required. Licensure:
BC/BE in Specialty, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts. Benefits
