Thurs-Mon Collaborating with a hospital in eastern South Carolina that has an opportunity for a skilled Urologist to provide locum weekend call coverage. Opportunity Highlights: Schedule: Weekend call (Thursday 5p-Monday 4p), 1 weekend per month Daily Volume: 10+ consults Weekend Volume: 18-36 patients to round on, some procedures Basic urological procedures required Must be comfortable working independently EMR: Epic Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses During your time off, explore nearby wildlife refuges, stroll a historic downtown, and sample homestyle barbecue and classic Lowcountry cuisine at family-owned eateries. Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Urologist South Carolina state license Graduate from a fully accredited Urologist program One year of work experience as Urologist One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
