The Certified Medical Dosimetrist performs treatment planning procedures including dose calculations and computerized treatment plans.

Required Skills
Knowledge of various types of radiation oncology equipment. Technical skills in the operation of radiation oncology equipment. Proficient in generating dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist. Effective communication skills. Good understanding of Title 17 and principles of radiation Safety. Proficient skills in treatment planning programs: Eclipse, CMS Skilled in performing quality analysis of radiation therapy equipment Precision and focus on details Ability and knowledge to work with patients ages adolescence through elderly. Required Experience
Required: Graduate from accredited radiotherapy program Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) eligibility Medical Dosimetrist Certification within 1 year of employment Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association Preferred: B.S.
