Description: The PM shall provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of the Contract. The PM support shall include assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, including both technical issues and business processes. The PM will have the authority to make decisions for the prime contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual, programmatic, and resource limitations issues.

Requirements Required experience: A minimum of ten years of experience working on RDT&E or Engineering projects supporting DoD agencies. A minimum of six years of recent experience (the end of the work experience must be within the last five years) managing programs/projects that included research, development, and implementation. Desired experience: 15 years of combined experience in roles giving the PM an understanding of engineering and testing programs that would enable the PM to readily communicate and understand the mission needs of DIU RAINS tenants. At least 6 years of prior experience either in a leadership position within, or managing contracts for, US Air Force RDT&E customers. AFRL, AFWERX, and AFSOC experience are particularly desired. Experience giving the PM an understanding of the requirements for both FAA and USAF Airworthiness certifications and evaluations. Required education: An active certification in at least one of the following: i.Program Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. ii.PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification. Security clearance: A current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. Location: DMV area, Washington, D.C.
