Provide exceptional service by being courteous and greeting and thanking all customers Follow, interpret, and enforce company policies and procedures with employees Suggest purchases to customers and promote store specials Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures Maintain cleanliness of interior/exterior of building including islands and pumps Minimize out of stock by restocking shelving, displays, and coolers as needed Clean fast-food area, equipment, and stock as needed Be safety/security conscious and follow the Safety Manual; report incidents to the manager Assist in training new employees Manage food service and beverage programs to maximize sales and minimize loss Report to work promptly, neatly groomed, and in uniform Make safe drops per company policies Prepare and make daily deposits on weekends or when covering for the manager Assist in preparing weekly orders from suppliers When needed, help fuel customer cars, check engine fluids, and wash windows (as required in Oregon or for handicapped customers elsewhere) Respond to emergencies when the Store Manager is unavailable Operate register and other store equipment as needed Prepare cashier checkout and report accurately and according to policy Additional duties as assigned Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED Flexible availability to meet the needs of a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays Previous leadership experience managing teams in food service or retail At least 3 months of customer service experience A strong passion for providing exceptional customer service Excellent communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude A valid Driver License and reliable transportation Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco and able to work around slot machines (NV only) Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration Ability to think quickly and adapt to change Assistant Manager in Training positions are temporary; individuals are expected to transition into management or other positions within the company during the training period. Physical Requirements
