Cluster Director of Business Development - Korea Sales role at
IHG Hotels & Resorts . This position is remote and based in Korea. Language proficiency in Korean and English is required. Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans to meet targets for
Crowne Plaza Resort Guam
and
Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan . Regularly sell bedrooms, meeting rooms, and restaurant & bar services through direct client contacts and partners (vendors, travel agents, tour operators, visitor bureaus, convention bureaus, IHG Sales Team). Drive a collaborative, high-performing team environment and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Coordinate sales activities including promotions, partnerships, publicity, and special sales projects to maintain and grow business volume. Support colleagues to ensure compliance with standards and ethical practices. Participate in occasional showcases, roadshows, and promotions related to the Korean market as organized by IHG. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or a related field (or equivalent). Experience: At least five years in hospitality or resort sales. Languages: Fluent in Korean and English (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Skills: Proactive sales skills, strong negotiation, excellent communication and writing abilities. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Korean market dynamics and business trends within hospitality. Other: Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties to reflect positively on the resort, brand and company; problem solving, reasoning, motivation, organization and training abilities.
