Our Northeastern US Region is looking for a
Security Director
to join the team. This is a remote position, located in the New York City Metropolitan area, with frequent travel within the Northeastern US region. As the lead security professional and advisor to Intl.SOS supporting the commercial teams, the Security Partner will drive revenue growth primarily of health security subscription services, as well as support the initial scoping of security consulting, training, and managed services. The role provides direct support to International SOS’s distribution channel to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth. The Security Partner will also act as the primary security peer and trusted advisor to our clients in this geography and/or other distribution (industry, etc). The Security Partner will be responsible for building on existing relationships and / or creating new ones within the client ecosystem to become a key advisor and strengthen relationships. Responsibilities and Expectations
Support and drive commercial growth strategies: act as Security Partner in US Northeast to support Account Management and Business Development teams to win significant new logos and strengthen partnerships with key clients, elevating Workforce Resilience programs and security consulting solutions to advance International SOS to trusted advisor status for key security clients in the US Northeast. Support Business Development Managers and Account Managers to retain and strengthen current client partnerships. Act as the subject matter expert during complex new business opportunities (including bids, tenders and RFPs); partner with Digital and Content teams to support technology demos and demonstrate International SOS security capabilities as part of an integrated solution with medical capabilities and digital enablers. Provide input to Security Consulting and Managed Services solution design and innovation in support of the Consulting & Solutions global agenda, bringing market input and experience to solution development and design.
Develop and Drive Consulting & Solutions Growth
Provide professional security expertise to drive consulting opportunities in US Northeast, other regions and global/cross-border engagements with clients and prospects. Collaborate with the regional Consulting & Solutions Practice to identify and scope opportunities and work on solution design, ensuring it meets client needs. Collaborate with the regional Consulting & Solutions Practice during the delivery phase to ensure the task meets client needs and enhances the relationship with International SOS.
Strategic Planning
As a key member of the US Northeast leadership team, actively participate and contribute to the distribution strategy and business plans for the region. Co-develop and co-own go-to-market and expansion plans to drive new business and retention and growth of strategic accounts with US Northeast commercial leadership.
Represent International SOS
Represent International SOS in professional forums and in the media in US Northeast. Support the design, promotion, and delivery of marketing & thought leadership materials relevant to consulting security clients in US Northeast. Develop strong peer networks through associations and client relationships; participate in association events in the US Northeast, advocating for International SOS. Be the voice of security within International SOS, providing insight on trends, themes, and areas of focus.
Additional Responsibilities
Advocate for US Northeast-based clients through localization and driving innovation of services. Provide local market, customer, and competitor insight. Play a supporting role on the US Crisis Management Team—providing support and advice as required. Be prepared to be physically seconded to the Philadelphia Security Centre, up to one week per quarter.
Requirements
Required Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of field and/or corporate security Knowledge of planning, developing, and delivering security consulting solutions; business development experience advantageous Risk and crisis management experience; appropriate certification advantageous Strong demonstrable understanding of security and risk mitigation concepts Effective report writing skills Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills Relationship building Experience in high or extreme risk environments advantageous Experience in security: field security, corporate security, consulting, military, police, intelligence, NGO, disaster management or related field Executive Protection, Security Operations Center, Crisis Management, Travel Risk Management, Intelligence, Security Planning Business related experience advantageous Extensive international travel experience

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in security, politics, international relations, law enforcement, criminal science, disaster management or related field Required Languages Fluent in English with advanced writing ability. Travel Requirements 25% Regional and some international travel dependent on business needs Willingness to work outside of normal duty hours, in support of client and operational requirements
